Working at byu again.

I decided to go back and work at BYU again and perhaps start focusing on finishing up school, although we'll see.  I just finished a new site for the woman resource center, voicesofcourage.byu.edu.  It was pretty fun, I did it in a CMS I hadn't worked with before, xmod, and put a few Jquery tidbits on the front page, and added a shadowbox to display pictures (and later video as they add it).

Instead of several part time jobs and freelance work, I'm now employed fulltime and a company called healthypayout.  The people I work with are wicked cool, and theres several interesting and challenging projects for me to work on that should keep my quite busy.

I finished the site, and the customer seemed quite satisfied with it.  You can check it out at http://globalpeg.com.  It looks identical to the old site, but now it's in wordpress, has a blog, and several forms for making payments through paypal, signing up to be an affiliate, or requesting globalpegs assistance in raising capital for your business.
Now it's on to the next  job!  Right now I'm looking around on provo.craigslist.com for anything that might turn into a fun contract job.

Decisions Decision...

I haven't added anything for a while, but thats okay because I'm not really looking for anymore work than I already have right now, unless it's an exceptional offer.

Right now I'm working at BYU as a web developer and administrator, for globalpeg doing contract work, and healthypayout, who I may work for fulltime.

It was a bit tricky getting CAS to work with a php authentication page, but I got it working in about an hour. I couldn't find any good instructions, so heres a tutorial for anyone interested.

1. Download casPHP files and put them in www root. They are available at http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CASC/phpCAS+installation+guide.
2. Make sure the source from the zip file is in your web server root.
3. Look through the examples. Copy example_gateway.php to your web server root.
